Ignorantus newbitus needs help
I recorded an 8-minute vocal track and saved it successfully. On playback it sounded great. However, when I open the folder to add aditional elements to my podcast, the whole track is in 42 bite-sized pieces, and it is proving frustrating and time consuming to align each track. Why is this happening, and how can I make it stop?

Ahhh nevermind. I have figured out what I was doing wrong. It was right in front of my nose. Great program by the way. Noise removal works like a charm!

I'm an ignorantus newbitus myself (love the term) and I'm curious: What WERE you doing wrong?

If it was Audacity 1.3.x, then he didn't read the message that comes up the first time that you save a project (well every time that you save a project until you select "don't show this message again")
Audacity projects are NOT audio files. To get an audio file you must Export.
