CANT HEAR BEAT WHEN I RECORD !?
i am trying to record tracks for myself and some people, i recently downloaded audacity for windows 7 and cant figure out how to hear the music as i record? when i push record there is no music, and when i push play it plays the music. i want to hear the music AS i record,SO FRUSTRATED does anyone have suggestions !?>

Can you hear music played in Audacity after you have recorded it?
If you can, then at the bottom of the "Transport" menu select "Overdub".
