Audacity Forum

Hello,

I had an old version of audacity that had a drop-down menu that displayed the option for recording from an internal mic. Now I have a newer version that doesn't seem to have that option. Does anyone know where I can select an internal mic for recording?

I guess that it is a laptop computer?
What operating system?

If it's audacity version 1.3.x go to preferences -> devices -> recording device. It should show up there.
