no sound from turntable cartridge

Post by dennisbeau » Sun Feb 14, 2010 6:21 pm

I get no sound when I start playing my vynil disk while I am not recording but
trying to listen to the quality of the vynil before I attempt to record and convert
it so I can then record it on a CD. Is there a way I can do this without having
Audacity recording feature activated.

Thank You

Have a read of this: http://manual.audacityteam.org/index.ph ... iscs_to_CD

If you have a USB TT - then also see this: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/USB_turntables
