Audacity Forum

I am trying to record some tapes into audacity and can't seem to figure out how to get both chanels to work. I'm using inport deluxe and everything works ok but it is recording on one chanel only. Is this supposed to happen, or is there a way I can fix it?

In 1.3.x try Edit > Preferences > Devices and set Channels to 2 Stereo

Or in 1.2 Edit > Preferences > Audio I/O and set Channels to 2 Stereo
