Then there is nothing to say that Audacity is not recording exactly the sound that you are sending to it. While I record I only hear the background track.
Afterwards when I press play I can hear my recorded piece and the back ground track.
And of course if I don't use any back ground track, I can only hear my recorded piece after I have recorded it.
