Audacity Forum

I am running audacity 1.3.9, with a behringer uca202. I can only get it to record on one channel, and either right or left. Within Audacity, I got to "Edit > Devices" and it shows the UCA device as USB Audio Code (mono), no stero option.

Is this normal ? I figured it should be stereo for the two is that are coming in through the UCA202 ( connected to my roland vs840 gx )?

Any ideas would be really appreciated

Ah, I figured it out. I had to go to Vista's Sound applet in Control panel and set the default for the device to stereo 2 channel ( I went with 44.1k ) - Thanks if you started looking into it. - ron
