Input device question?

Post by Proffet » Fri Sep 11, 2009 6:31 pm

I can't find a forum about Fruity Loops 8, so can anyone help me with this problem? I need to know if I can use the microphone that is built into my computer with Fruity Loops8. It works well on Audacity, but it seems like Fruityloops8 does not detect it. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Do you have just onboard sound device or is there another audio device present?

IIRC, there's an option on FL where you enable I/O devices.

If you use std audio driver models (MME/DS(/WDM/KS)) then you (normally) set the play/recording source through Windows mixer (start run... sndvol32 /r (recording options) and sndvol32 (playback options) or through mixer panel which became installed with the audio interface installation.

Anyway, if you have just onboard sound device present, Asio4All might be helpful. - http://www.asio4all.com/
