Hi Newbie here.
I have just downloaded 1.3.8 and when I launch Audacity to record from my PC internal cd player [or any input source] the record facility starts in a
MONO mode
I am
listening to
STEREO which I would like to record in
STEREO not
SINGLE CH MONO
can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? please

Go to Edit > Preferences > Devices and change the the setting in the Recording/Channels drop-down - reset this to 2 (stereo)
