this is our first attempt at a podcast,we used audacity and are very happy with it.we are now working on our 2nd episode and learning more about the features audacity has to offer.

Yes. iTunes has blind spots. Like the ability to remember where you were when you sampled that really cool dance rhythm, no bookmarks, and much of the meta-data song information will not cut and paste. I use a number two lead pencil (really graphite) and a piece of note paper.
