"Voice Logo" question

I have downloaded and "fixed" a track from my Tascam and want to save it and export it back to recorder. When I hit "save" a message comes up that says it will have "Voice Logo" on the upload. Is this okay/normal? I downloaded the latest upgrade version from the "official" Audacity site. I searched up top for "Voice Logo" on forum but could not get a clear answer to my question. Should I be downloading additional software/plug-in or is it okay to use "Voice Logo" as it is presented? I also see on the site where I can upgrade to a year or unlimited for an additional fee. Will this take care of that issue and is it worth it? Thanks for your help!

I think that you have downloaded the wrong program.
Audacity is completely free, but the download site that hosts Audacity is supported by advertising. I think you have downloaded an advertised commercial product by mistake.

Thanks for the reply. I downloaded from the "official" Audacity website version 1.2.6 and 1.3.7 and both come up with the same thing. I just don't understand what exactly "Voice Logo" is and if it is ok to use or should I steer clear of it? Thanks again.

I've no idea what "Voice Logo" is - It's nothing to do with Audacity and my guess is that it is asking you to buy something. I'd uninstall and steer clear of it.
Read all of the notes on the page that waxcylinder posted the ling for and get the genuine Audacity. When installed you can look in the "Help" menu where it will tell you the Audacity version ("About Audacity")

What the hell is this "Voice Logo" nonsense??? I have wasted hours of my time now. What am I going to do with a saved file with a stupid voiceover? Worthless! Will someone please tell me CLEARLY-can I get a version of Audacity audio editor without "Voice Logo" or not? Or are all the downloads the same and I need to pay money to get rid of it? PLEASE REPLY.

This is where to download Audacity from ...
http://audacityteam.org/
BTW Audacity is free.
I'm guessing you have mistakenly downloaded a free trial version of another audio editor, nothing to do with Audacity,
which repeatedly inserts a spoiler phrase, the "voice logo", into any project you create,
and you have to part with cash to get rid of this spoiler / watermark/ "Voice Logo".
looks like you've downloaded the AVS product by mistake ...
AVS Audio Tools v3.5
No functional limitations in AVS Audio Tools trial version AVS Audio Tools 3.5 trial version is now completely free of any time or feature limits except for a voice logo on output files. This innovation empowers you with greater opportunity to test absolutely all features and experience the potentials of the program.

Trebor, thanks very much for your reply. I have now downloaded what I hope is the "correct" software with no "voice logo" baggage. However, I previously used exactly the same link to SourceForge and got the AVG version. Yesterday, after I posted my complaint, the link suddenly took me to the correct version, almost as though somebody at Audacity changed the link. Still need to test the software to make sure it does not have the "voice logo" feature.

Examples of Audacity screens are shown here ...

If you have a look you can tell at a glance if you've got the real McCoy.
