Recording option not available

Post by lisaprince » Sat Jul 22, 2017 12:32 pm

the only two options I have for Recording devise is Microsoft Sound mapper and Microphone High Definiion Audio, I do not have an option to choose Microphone Array 2 USB PNP Audio, i have purchased two systems because I thought it was a fault of the system. What do I need to do?

Close all Audacity windows, then then restart Audacity while the USB device is still attached, then see if the USB mic is then an option in Audacity.
If that doesn't give you the USB mic option, go to Windows recording devices to check the USB device is being recognized and is enabled ... http://www.thewindowsclub.com/how-to-en ... in-windows .
Unplugging-plugging is worth a try to get Windows to recognize the USB device.
