Hello,
I have a question regarding Sample Rate Conversion on Audacity.
Who handles ASRC in the following scenario by default; is it Windows or Audacity?

  1. If the Sample rate of the USB Sound card is 48000 Hz. [Windows is aware that this USB sound card supports only 48000Hz sample rate].
  2. And the user opens a Audio file whose native sample rate is 16000Hz.

It is best not to use abbreviations. SRC is a known abbreviation for Sample Rate Conversion. I don’t know what ASRC is.

Are you talking about Audacity importing a file whose rate is 16000 Hz? This might help a little: Missing features - Audacity Support.

If you have a goal, rather than this is a rhetorical question, please say what the goal is.
