Remove bass from drumtrack

Post by torbjaaarn » Sat Sep 03, 2011 5:55 pm

So I have this drumtrack (Beatles - I Me Mine actually), which is perfect except for one thing; you can hear the bass playing in the background. It's not very loud, but exactly so loud that you can hear it even if I add a new bassline or a guitar track. Help?

You could try "Elevayta Extra Boy" (free demo version available http://www.elevayta.net/product13.htm ) but trying to "un-mix" a track is rarely completely successful.

Hello,
Maybe this will help you CTRL+A the audio file in Audacity, then click Effect -> Equalization.
