Some problems, applying Bass and Treble.

After clicking for this effect appears (strange view of the effect window):
I must click "apply". But after applying the picture doesn't disappear, I must click "close". Please, correct.

For other effects there is OK instead of "apply". For instance (standart view):

That's all correct behaviour.
The effect has now real-time preview. It acts exactly as e.g. Vst plug-ins.
You can adjust sliders on the fly while listening which is very convenient. You can even navigate to the main window, change the selection, the start position of the playback, invoke loop playback etc.
The effect stays open after applying (in order to select another region or track), close it manually with the button or with the escape key (remember that alt-F6 brings the effect into view again).

Windows of all other effects close, after applying. It is uncomfortable clicking 2 buttons instead of 1. Please, make, as before, in 2.1.2. Аt first everything was fine. But since some alpha 2.1.3 version, effect window has changed to unusual, unwonted, unlike from other effects view.

There is no 2.3.1 version.

Alpha builds are just that - not releases and not stable. Don't use them unless you know what you are doing and accept the risks. If you want to help us by testing alpha releases, that is greatly appreciated, but if so update to each new alpha build as it comes out. Of course, Bass and Treble won't go back to being a non-real-time preview effect. You can use Equalization instead, which is not yet real-time preview.

We have discussed the possibility of adding an "Apply and Close" button or perhaps add a checkbox "Close on Applying". Both would make the effect dialogue wider.
