Hi, is it possible to restore wav files in audacity or is there also other software for it on Linux?

You will have to be a bit clearer about what you are asking.
If you have a look at some of the tutorials in he Audacity wiki it will give you some idea of what Audacity can do.

It doesn't do anything in real time, that's not what it's for. Other than that you can do just about anything.
