(Moderators: I accidentally submitted this post for Audacity 1.2.x but I'm actually using 1.3.13. I'm re-posting in the 1.3x forum please remove/deny the other post thanks)
I'm not a musician, a dj, or any kind of studio guy and I don't have any kind of extensive experience with audio manipulation software.
I just want to be able to record phonecalls from google voice, skype, or other types of programs.
The good news is, right out of the box, it all works. I don't have any trouble making any of the recordings.
But the one thing i want to do that i can't seem to figure out is assigning how the audio channels are laid out.
Currently both input (my mic) and the output are both in 'left channel'
can i assign them to individual channels or would i need multiple sound cards for that?
Left Channel: Mic input / Right Channel: Output.
