I am new to Audacity. I use Ubuntu and would like to know how you can record from an FM radio onto a laptop that has Audacity installed. The station I want to record from has not yet made streaming available so I have to go from radio to computer. What is the easiest way to do this for a newbie? Thank you!

It's basically the same as recording from a turntable or tape deck - see this set of tutorials in the manual:

Do you have a radio tuner? Which outputs does it have?
Does your laptop have a line input? If it does you could connect the tuner's line output to the laptop's line-in. Unfortunately most laptops don't have a line-in (except for Mac's and a few others most only have a mic input).
I somewhat cheap and effective way of getting a line level signal into a laptop is to use an usb interface such as the behringer uca202.
There are also some radio tuners capable of recording directly to a digital format. My portable mp3 player (sansa clip+) also has radio tuner built-in and it's capable of recording radio, though the quality of the recording is quite poor...
We need to know what gear you already have to be able to give better advice.
