Audacity and Lynx One

Post by T01Dev » Sat Dec 18, 2010 10:09 am

Hi,

Just inserted the Lynx One in the PC, started Audacity and ... did not get to see the "new hardware" :o - of course...
What do I do to verify the Lynx One does work with Audacity, before I go out and buy (expensive) gear, like a mixer...

Shouldn't I see the hardware in the preferences?

Some/any help really appreciated.

Thanks :D

What operating system do you have?
Did you run the LynxOne set-up program?
Is the LynxONE Mixer installed?

Hi, Steve,
Thanks for the reply!

I have put the card in annother PC, running Debian Linux. Since the setup seems to be windows only, that was not an option
I have looked at the settings, and Audacity seems (at least) to see something other than ALSA, there is DAC stuff and so on...so I guess there IS something. ;)

I cannot selec(t the appropriate harware, though. Maybe I'll need to hand-edit something...

And input here would be greatly appreciated!

Wellness
