Not much of a problem as this only occurs if a track is stretched vertically to an extreme amount.
No other display problems are evident on this computer with Audacity or other applications.

Re: Display corruption
I can't replicate it on Ubuntu 10.04 (800 x 600 resolution) or Windows 7 (1024 x 768). What is the video card/display adapter? Are you using open source video drivers instead of the manufacturer's drivers?

Re: Display corruption
I'm using "Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07)" on Ubuntu 9.04 with Compiz.
Since posting I have noticed some minor display problems on YouTube, so I guess that it is most likely a driver related problem that has appeared with the latest kernel update. I'm not particularly bothered about fixing it as it is no big deal and I intend to update to Ubuntu 10.04 soon. I just wanted to check that it was not a more widespread problem and it appears that it isn't. Thanks for checking it out Gale.
