Hi,
I'm using audacity on kubuntu 10.04RC. My problem comes from the playback (and loop playback) funcitonality. I've tested on some mp3 files and somes wav files and it reproduces easyli. I use audacity 1.3.12 from ubuntu repository.
When I play a file, playback stop without any reason nor any action from me. Audacity doesn't crash, and if I click again on playback (or loop playback) the playback start again. For exemple, in one session, I make a selection and play loop on the selection, sometimes it works without problem, sometimes, it works for some loops and stop. The number of loop is never the same. I'm really anoiyng with this because I can't explain this bug, but I can reproduce every time I use audacity ! So if someone has any suggestions, it can really help me

I'd like to help but I'm clueless on this one...
Try running audacity from a terminal window and see if it shows any error messages in the terminal...
Open a terminal/console/command line (or whatever it is called on kubuntu) window. Type 'audacity' (without quotes) and press enter.
When that behaviour happens look in the terminal window and check if there's any error message in there.
Include as much details as you can in your post (Audacity version, Operating System, Equipment used, etc).
Please post your question in the appropriate forum (regarding audacity version and operating system).
