Recording Internet Radio

Post by sirius56 » Fri Feb 01, 2008 2:49 pm

I'm having a problem recording streaming audio. Audacity can record when I inject audio into my mic input, but cannot directly record audio streamed to my computer.

Here is some info:

Audacity 1.3.2-beta is loaded into Fedora 8.

Enable software sound mixing (ESD) is off.

Audacity Device toolbar shows: Speaker--greyed out. Mic--ALSA: HDA Intel: STAC92xx Analog (hw:0,0)

Mixer toolbar shows a Speaker icon and a Mic icon both with slider bars. To the right of that, a pulldown menu with the choices: Capture:0,1,2 and Mux:0,1,2

About Audacity shows:

MP3 importing disabled
Off Vorbis importing enabled
ID3 tag exporting enabled
FLAD plug-in support enabled
LADSPA plug-in support enabled
Libsamplerate support enabled
PortAudio v19
wsWidgets 2.6.3

Any help would be appreciated. Audacity is important to me.
