Why won't this file work?

Post by Ubadood » Sun Mar 28, 2010 12:35 pm

Hello, I'm not that Knowledgeable about computers so bare with me.
I'm trying to open up a backing track on audacity, but it isn't working.

http://www.yourguitarplace.com/sites/pr ... 53&pid=157

^The file at the top of the page is the one I downloaded (Comfortably Numb Pulse backing track), but when i open it up with audacity, it says that it doesn't recognize the file and that i should try importing it as raw. Well i did that and then when i plays it is just a pointless fuzzy sound. I don't know what to do since the backing track is MP3 (I think) And other backing tracks i've put on audacity have been MP3 and they've worked fine.

Thankyou for any help :D

Rename the file "Pink.mp3"
It is currently just called "Pink" (without an extension) so Audacity does not know to use the MP3 importer).
