I am using Fedora 12 and kernel version: 2.6.32.9-70.fc12.i686.PAE.
My audacity version audacity-1.3.11-0.1.beta.fc12.i686.rpm
I have to record and edit some wav files for my speech recognition work. But there is horrible display problem when I am recording or importing wav files. Can you please give me solution.
I tried to install different audacity versions but the same problem exists. I tried audacity free world from rpmfusion repo also.
Sorry for posting in the wrong place.

Re: Audacity display problem
Please don't double-post (especially in the wrong part of the forum) - it only wastes people's time and doesn't get your question answered any quicker. I have removed the duplicate for you.
I seem to recall seeing similar queries and IIRC it was down to the graphics card and its s/w drivers. Try reading/searching the forum.

Re: Audacity display problem
This has come up a few times and each time it was due to problems with video card drivers. Updating the drivers or using a proprietary driver will probably fix it.
