I'm having trouble with a newly-built 1.3.12 installation in that the tracks won't scroll when right dragging. Left dragging works fine. The tracks will scroll when using shft-right-arrow, but this method of selection is slower than dragging. Been having this problem since around 1.2.9. Can't remember the exact version, sorry. I'm running Ubuntu 9.10.

I'm not seeing that problem at all.
There's an easy workaround - zoom out.
If you have a wheel mouse, Ctrl+Wheel
