Can't download help file

Unbuntu 8.04
new install, from scratch
I need the help file as this version is different enough from the 3 year old version I was running so as to be confusing

1) When you extract the zip file it should produce a folder called "help" with a load of files in it. (if it just creates a load of files, then you need to put them in a folder and name the folder "help" (without quotes).

2) If you have a folder /usr/share/audacity/ then the "help" folder (from step 1 above) needs to go into that audacity folder. If the /audacity/ folder is somewhere else (for example /usr/local/share/audacity/ ) then you need to put the help folder in there.
