I am running Ubuntu 8.04 and downloaded Audacity from Synaptic. How do I get the Help function to work? I downloaded the manual, but it would be nice to be able to just click on the toolbar to get Help.
I also can't find how to download Lame. Both Help and Lame seem to be necessary to complete the Audacity download. Or are am I misunderstanding something?

Re: Help function doesn't work on the tool bar
The Wiki new 1.3.8 features page http://audacityteam.org/download/features-1.3-a only says that help files are available for Windows and MAc users, no mention of Linux "Draft Manual/Quick Help included in Windows and Mac installers "
