Hi,
I am trying to use Audacity with a Hammerfall 9632 card. The card is showing that there is some input to the card, and I can see activity also in the Sound preferences section fo System Preferences.
(Most of the information is documented here: http://audacityteam.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=9944)
But, I cannot get Audacity to record it... So, what do I do? How do I change the channel picked up by Audacity? (and which one is picked up by default?)
Thankful for any the help I can get.
/Fredrik
Selecting the correct recording channel??

Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
Mac 0S X 10.3 and earlier are no longer supported but you can download legacy versions of Audacity for those systems HERE.

Hi,
Have you tried using '/Applications/Utilities/Audio MIDI Setup'?

Well, yes, but in there I can select the 9632 card as the default input card, but not change any of the settings or controls on that card. Everything is dimmed.

For a very high-end card like that, I would expect a separate setup software package. That's a PCI card. Does the card information say it will run on a Mac? There's also usually a list of compatible audio programs. What does that say?
