Annoying click when using Pitch Shift

Hi all

I'm trying to create the bass part of my own kick drum in 1.3.7 and wish to pitch shift the first part of the sine wave.

The pitch shift effect works, but I get an annoying click between the part I've pitch shifted, and the remainder of my sine wave.

How do I pitch shift part of my sine wave so that it runs smoothly into the rest of the sample. I know it's something to do with zero crossings but can't figure out how to get rid of the click between the different parts of the wave form where the zero crossings are different.

Any help would be great.
