I have installed audacity 1.2.5. on an iMac (intel duo) OSX 10.5.6. When I use the keyboard to play a file, I can only do that once. When put the cursor on an other part in the file, the keyboard does not react. The hot spots on screen do work. I have to go preferences window, go back to audacity and the keyboard works again, but again only for one time...?
What is wrong?
I also use audacity 1.2.5. on a Mac G4 OSX 10.4.11 here this problem does not occur.

Re: play transport problem using keyboard
Why are you using Audacity 1.2.5? This option is available in Audacity 1.3.7

Re: play transport problem using keyboard
Contrary to the labels, Stable 1.2.5 on Mac/Leopard/Intel isn't stable. There are known issues with this combination. Mac/Tiger/Intel works fine and I use that combination, but probably shouldn't. Upgrade to 1.3.7.
You can have both 1.2 and 1.3 on your machine as long as you only launch and use one at a time. 1.2 projects will open up anywhere, but 1.3 projects will only open up in 1.3.
WAV files open up anywhere. AIFF files open on any Mac.
