Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

Mac 0S X 10.3 and earlier are no longer supported but you can download legacy versions of Audacity for those systems HERE.

I think it is definitely a 16 bit file because if I create a 1.0 second stereo WAV file at 48kHz (48000 samples), it is 192004 bytes (the same as your file). (2 bytes per sample x 2 channels x 48000 samples. )

Hey Koz.

The latest nightly should have this fixed.

All these conditions produced a good Focus, Golden Halo, and SpaceBar Play.

Right Click Music > Open With...
Drag Music to Audacity Icon in the dock.

While the music is already open, File > Open > piano2.wav and a second work window opens up with Focus, Halo, and SpaceBar Play.

This release did all those things multiple times. It never missed.

Also, unsaid, is the Quit functions are working now, too. 1.3.7 had that thing where you had to Quit the program in a wacky way.

Now we just need to get rid of all the exploding outlines and the presentation is pretty much licked. Did you know there are three exploding outlines just to open the program? The open, the opening announcement, and the announcement closing. If you're experimenting with different equalizations for your show, the screen is a festival of exploding outlines.

Gone. All of them.
