OK, but the machines will be busy for a couple of hours yet.

Re: Triple Boot Mac...Yo!
<<<Could you enable Clean Speech in 1.3.6 release or 1.3.7 Nightly Build (on the Interface tab of Preferences at the bottom), take a noise profile, exit, restart and make sure Audacity already indicates it has the noise profile (OK button active). Then we could clear this bug.>>>
1.3.6 under the Leopard license. Entered Clean Speech, loaded a short WAV file and selected a portion for a noise profile. Took the profile and closed Audacity. Reopened Audacity and applied the profile successfully. The [OK] button is active. The profile file is in place.
However. There is another problem. I take the profile and close Audacity. Reopen Audacity, apply the profile successfully, and then Edit UnDo. Back to the beginning, right? No. Audacity > Preferences is gray and Audacity > Quit Audacity is gray and APPLE-Q fails. The only way to close Audacity is the red ball in the upper left (or kill the process). The red ball only puts Audacity away without quitting it. After the red ball, Audacity > Quit Audacity, APPLE-Q, and Audacity > Preferences become active.
[time passes]
I remember this. This is that race condition y'all haven't found yet. After the first five or six open/close/undo cycles, it stops doing it. Now, all the controls and selectors--and Quit--work perfectly.
Bed time. Ta.
