I've moved over from ProTools and am still clueless where Audacity is concerned.
Editing audio, and I inadvertently hit something that changed the view of the track I'm on. The sound waves are very tall,
and I'm only seeing the bottoms of them. Like being a kid in a crowd and only seeing everyone's legs.
There's no Undo for this, and I've played around with View and found nothing. I pulled down the arrow menu from the left side of the track in question, and nothing there seems to fit the bill either - the settings are exactly the same for the track above it, which appears normal.
Zooming In, Out, then Normal doesn't solve it.
Whatever I did, I did with the inadvertent touch of one key.
Any ideas? Thanks so much!

Yeah that happened to me, too. If you hover over the left edge of the waveforms, your cursor will change into a + magnifier. Press/hold Shift and it will change into a - and reduce the vertical size of the waves. Stop when you get to 1 up and 1 down.

Thanks so very much. Saving this in case it happens again.
What I resorted to - and it worked! - was saving the file, shutting down Audacity, and reopening it. Pshew. Project resumed.
Very grateful - thanks!
