Edit features not working [SOLVED]

Hi! I love Audacity and the ease of use. I have edited several audio feeds for webinars on our website. For some reason, the editing features are not working at all. It will not allow me to highlight and cut. It has always been easy to edit an audio feed in the past. I have not changed any settings. And yes, I have hit the stop button. Are you able to tell me what to do?

That's a mystery. Could you post a screen shot of the project window that is giving you problems? Does this happen with all projects? Try creating a new project, generating tone then try editing the resulting tone track.

Monica also wrote to [email protected] about it. She had enabled Snap To (seconds) and was zoomed in so she could only see less than a second of track. As a result, no selection is possible.

"Snap To" can be turned on and off in Selection Toolbar bottom left of the Audacity window:
