I occasionally supply code to the Audacity Team; a dozen or more of my patches have been used. Since Audacity has been in a "feature freeze" mode all my accepted patches have been bug-fix related. I can compile and test on Windows and have access to some folks who compile and test on Linux; what I lack is a partner to compile and test these bug-fixes on Mac. Currently the only Audacity Team Programmer working on Mac is extremely busy and has little or no time to do this kind of work.

This has come up before. I can tell you I'd help, but I know it wouldn't work. Plus you need a stable current OS and I don't have Lion on anything. One machine is scrambled OSs and the other is Leopard. Koz

I'll be getting a new iMac in the next month or so. I'm more than willing to learn how to build Audacity and test patches, but I'd need some hand-holding from a Mac guru until I get it running. Also I know there are issues with XCode 4 - I don't know if any of the Mac developers are using it yet.
