Is there a way to filter out the sound of an inhalation?

Hi All:
First time posting, as I couldn't find this in previous posts, and I am not sure what to look for anyway...
I am doing podcasts and narrations, using Audacity 1.3 on an iMac 24". I am using an Electro Voice 320, a PreSounus AudioBox 22vsl, and of course, Audacity. I am getting some great recordings, but i am also getting the intake breaths when reading...
Is there a filter (or technique short of manually doing it) to remove the 'breath' sounds that I hear when inhaling? I try to turn my head away from the mic, and still hear them. I am manually going through each recording to add silence by selecting the sections of the recording and hitting the Ctrl L command, but this is very time consuming.
I have tried the 'noise removal' filter, and it removes the frequencies from the whole recording and creates a 'canned' sound that is definitely not usable on the whole recording. Short of selecting each breathing pause, and adding silence, I don't know a way to automate this....
Attached is a snip of what i am referring to. Some are much more noticeable than this one, but this is what I want to remove in general.
Many thanks for the advice.
Mark
