Please accept my apologies if this has been asked before. Is it possible?

Yes, but with a few limitations.
Audacity 1.2.x cannot open projects saved by Audacity 1.3.x, so I would recommend that you use the latest 1.3.x (currently 1.3.13) on both systems.
You must send the
entire project (both the .AUP file and the audio data) to the new machine. I would recommend that before you save your project, create a folder to put it in. Check for "
dependencies" to ensure that the project is self contained, then save the project into the folder that you have created. You can now copy the entire folder (containing the .AUP file and the _data folder) to the new computer.
Some characters are not legal in file names. For example, you cannot use a "" in a file name on a Windows computer as it is the file-path separator. I would recommend that you name your tracks, files and projects using only standard characters (numbers, letters, hyphen and underscore).
