Eliminating mic buzz

Post by halim4all » Sat Aug 27, 2011 5:36 pm

I'm working with a single voice speech recorded with 2 mics, one of which buzzes now and then.
Any suggestions on eliminating the 2nd mic's buzz? There are words on both tracks at the same
time as the buzzing, but I can't separate mic the tracks (mono recording).

I've done it! A friend called to tell me how to split the tracks into two duplicates
and then simply delete the offending track! Yay!

Yes, but you shouldn't need to do that. Describe how your system is connected. Macs don't have a Mic-In, so how did you get there?
