Im having difficulty when playing back my track as its not reaching my mac speakers (and therefor my headphones plug has no output).... i can record ok..... but when i play back NO SOUND COMES OUT although the track is actually recorded and playing...... My iTunes speakers work so its some kind of setting inside the audacity 1.3.13 (beta) ......Ive checked my mac setting and see nothing unusual ..... and can't seem to find the simple solution that will correct this very small but delibiltating issue.... ANY IDEAS boys and Girls ?? (oh yeah....Im on the new LION system with a macbookpro).

You will find the Audacity output (playback) settings in "Edit menu > Preferences > Devices".
