Hello,
It seems Audacity has set playback to come out of a headset some time ago and now I cannot change the setting to listen playback through the internal speakers.
System preferences shows output through internal speakers, but I don't hear any Audacity file playing back through them.
This condition doesn't happen with any other audio application.

Audacity > Preferences > Devices > Playback. Sometimes you need to restart Audacity for new system settings to stick.
