A user told me on OS X 10.5.8 PPC that if you type a rate not in the list, for example 50000 Hz, then click the arrow that exposes the list of preset rates, the rate you typed is removed from the box so you have to type it again. Can anyone confirm that? Doesn't happen on Windows or Linux, but in any case the answer is to click in the box, not on the arrow.

Doesn't happen on by Ubuntu box (unless you click the arrow and select one of the presets).

I'm not seeing this with 1.3.14-July 01 nor with 1.3.13-beta on Mac PPC 10.5.8. As long as you drag off the drop-down menu of sample rates so none is selected, then let go, what you typed into the box is not changed.
