Just below the message composition window there is a tab labelled "Upload attachment". Click on that to reveal the tab contents. Click on "Browse..." and find the file on your computer, then click "Add the file". Once the file is uploaded a new tab will appear containing a "Place inline" button which will place the file link into the message being composed.

I tested the alternate USB port and got the same problem. My hard drive is nowhere near full....maybe 15%. So I routed the turntable through my stereo receiver and the conversion was flawless. I could do one vinyl side at a time without monitoring. Feel good after a week at it. Audacity 1.3x is a great program and so far easy to use. Thanks....Lou
