Yes, there are apps to edit the metadata on music files. What was the exported format? MP3? Some music players can do it too.

And iTunes is one of those apps - I never bother with metadata in Audacity. I prefer just to export my WAVs with a filename and no other metadata - I then import them into iTunes and manage the metadata in iTunes (I usually conver the WAVs to AAC).

but you need to export again as mp3 right?
basically I did a conversion into mp3 but I realized in Itunes that I tagged all songs with capitol letters apart from one..
I wanted to edit that one without re-exporting into mp3 (it was already an mp3)
I was wondering if re-exporting affects somehow the quality itself
that's why I was looking for a way to correct that little capitol letter thing without re-exporting :D

You don't need to reexport, simply edit the tag in iTunes. Right click (or Ctrl-Click) on the track you want to change the name and click "information" the go to the Info tab and change the tags you want.

You can export again from the original (uncompressed) source file. The resulting mp3 will be the same. If you no longer have the original audio in an uncompress format and you import the mp3 and reexport again, then yes, you'll be doing extra damage to the audio and the quality will degrade.
