Switching from Fit in Window to Zoom Normal

I notice often that if I'm in "Fit in Window" so that I can view all of the tracks at once, and I'm playing the file, if I change to "Zoom Normal" what I see is the beginning of the file I'm working on, and not where the playback marker is. I then choose "Zoom Normal" again, and I'm placed in the proper location.
