Hi All,
I'm configuring Audacity on a Macbook running 10.6.4. I imported the MP3 encoder and it works fine on my account, but at a school more than one user will be logging in, and it seems this setup meeds to be done for each user. I read about how this can be fixed on Windows through the registry, but found nothing on how it can be done on a Mac.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Jackson

Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
Mac 0S X 10.3 and earlier are no longer supported but you can download legacy versions of Audacity for those systems HERE.

While the lame and FFMpeg software resides on the /Application folder, the configuration files are tied to the user.
/Users/koz/Library/Application Support/audacity/audacity.cfg.
You might be able to make use of a "portable" version of Audacity.
