After highlighting, still unable to copy or delete

After highlighting, still unable to copy or delete

When I highlight a portion of the audio, the option to delete, copy, etc. does not move from faded text to bold in order to execute the action.

I closed the program and opened it again. Now it seems to be functioning correctly. Thanks. Nick

You may have been "Paused" rather than "Stopped". Most Audacity functions require that playback/recording is "Stopped".
