Using the Snap To function
How do I set the "Snap To" setting so I can only select in increments of 0.05 seconds? Down at the bottom of my window, I see a check box for "Snap To", but it appears this is only for selecting a specific region based on a starting and stopping time index. Can anyone help?

Re: Using the Snap To function
The selection toolbar http://manual.audacityteam.org/index.ph ... on_Toolbar can be used in a number of ways. When "Snap to" is checked, all your selections will snap to whatever increment you have chosen in one of the dropdown menus. So, for example, you can set the selection format to "hh:mm:ss+hundredths". You can set the second number window to show "length" or "end" of selection. Thus you could click somewhere to start your selection, then increment the "length" number box until it reads "00:00:00.05" which would be 0.05 seconds.
If you don't want to snap to boundaries, but still want to select 0.05 seconds, set "Snap to" off, click at the start of your selection, then increment the length as above.
