Plug-in Folder is locked

When I try to install center pan remover or ANY plug-in the screen says the plug-in folder cannot be modified. Any input???

You probably need Administrator permissions (or whatever they call it on Macs).

It should also say [Authorize?] Click on that and type in the name of an administrator or someone who is authorized to change settings on the computer. If this is a corporate computer, then someone in IT may need to help you.

Apple > System Preferences > System > Accounts > Other Accounts. This may give you a list of people to see for help.
