Did you "clean up" any temporary files before saving?

People get testy with us when we insist on the proper wording. Audacity doesn't Save files. It Exports files and Saves Projects.

That's really important because Audacity Projects more often than not are standing on the original capture clips and imported sound files. If you Save your performance and then go around and delete all those capture files, you have no show and no way to get it back--unless you didn't dump your trash yet.

If you get to the end of your performance and Export As WAV..., then you do have one, high quality, stand-alone sound file that you can edit later or email or back up. You can't do any of those things to a Project.
