Can't reassign loop play

I tried to set it up so that loop play was space and shift+space was play, but it doesn't work. In the transport menu it says loop play is space, but space just plays once though. Is this a known bug?

Right you are. It appears that one cannot assign <space> to anything other than Play. This may have to do with the fact that <space> Plays when stopped and Stops when playing. You can assign "L" to loop play, if that helps.

Tested with 1.3.12 Mac OS X 10.4.11 PPC.

You can assign Space to Loop Play if you first assign "Play/Stop" to an unused key.
Note that "Play/Stop" is not "Play" and "Stop". You will find "Play/Stop" in the "Commands" category.

Setting Space to Loop Play will not allow you to stop the Loop Play with the Space - you will still need to use the Play/Stop key to make it stop.

I stand corrected.
